This isn't what they initially intended when they set to join the gangs. Once raped, you are then more likely to obtain raped again, since you get called a "punk," someone that a homosexual or a weak prisoner. Teach toddler that involvement in gangs, violence, drugs, and/or extortion will not get him anywhere but prison. It's used to mark gang territory in specific areas.
